Just A Little Teapot, Short And Stout

Here is the quirkiest teapot I have ever seen. I love it, because, like me, it's different, lol. It doesn't follow any familiar teapot path. It doesn't resemble Mrs. Potts, and it certainly doesn't have the style to put on airs, lol. However, you must admit, this teapot is purely fun. From it's slightly potbelly shape to its whimsical covering of berry vines, it shines. It seems to say, "Here I am, choose me, choose me. I will make you laugh, I will make you smile, and I will definitely comfort you." It is 7" high, and says Handpainted for Cambridge. That is all I know about its pedigree. I just think this is the funniest teapot in the world. The price includes postage and handling. Enjoy!!!!

How can I begin to say thanks to those who have gone on before, and paved the road to freedom? How do I display any image that will express the thankfulness that permeates my being every time I think of our fallen heroes. Words escape me, pictures aren't enough! This week I am offering a paper doll book called "United We Stand". The cost is $10.00. All of the proceeds will go to the Disabled American Veterans. Over the years, the DAV has been one of my most loved charities. As usual there is no charge for shipping and handling. The whole $10.00 will go to the DAV. I always loved this song, and I still do today. The only thing I'd change is the growing old part, lol. My mother will always be the same in my eyes. I think we only get little glimpses that our dear mother's have aged.

It makes me think of the bible verse in Proverbs 31. " Her children arise and call her blessed, Her husband also, and he praises her."

Today Miss Violet is reminiscing. Remember the Royal Albert Old Country Roses pattern? It is arguably one of the most well known patterns in the world. Not as long lived as the willow pattern, but what it lacks in provenance it makes up for in volume. Miss Violet is offering a nice tea tray.
